Sewing 101
When I asked for and received a sewing machine for Christmas I thought that I'd be able to bust out Anthropologie style aprons within minutes no problem. Little did I know that sewing machines are a very scary and intricate piece of machinery that requires a lot of learning, attention to detail, and practice. I finally took the time to figure it out, kind of, (thanks YOUtube) and am on my way to being 75 years old. I love the pretty fabrics, and can't wait to actually be able to sew an apron! I did, however, sew some fabric napkins for the house. yay.

Ahhh, I love your blog! So many great craft ideas and sweet little garden updates. Hang in there with the sewing...I've had my machine for three years and just this week *finally* was able to make a little dress for my niece without giving up halfway through from frustration. It takes time. :)
